I had a word with John today about this, among other things.
What he suggested was that we, well “I” really, do the Bob thing after lunch and STFU till then. I really can’t think why… 😉
But, I can get what he was saying and it does actually make a lot of sense and it allows a lot of things to be tee’d up before we get into costs and stuff.

Now, here’s a thought for you all and it’s a bit of a bombshell but, those that follow the sh1t I pull will get it…
What about putting DASA on to explain what DASA do and whatnot and that they are working with the WTA?
No-one knows it but, I do help DASA where I can. Mostly this entails telling them to stop being daft and to get a grip but, there is a lot of crossover between what DASA want to be and what the WTA is shaping into becoming. It’s early days but there are lines of communication and, that’s no bad thing IMO and, as you will all know, I don’t close lines of communication in anything but extraordinary circumstances.
But, to show a bit of synergy and solidarity between the associations is perhaps not a stupid idea given recent events. It’s good for DASA, it’s good for the WTA and might break down the barriers a little bit.
We’re sorta putting on a show here to some extent, I think we should put on a good one.
The reason for me last is that, hopefully, all (or most) the suits will bog off before we hit the open floor, which is where the danger lies.

I think the DASA idea is a good one, afterall, we’re both here to stay! May aswell show the room that although different, we can stand side by side!
Might also make the suits and / or doubters of the WTA look at us a bit more seriously!

OK with the DASA thing think its an excellent idea – somewhere in that lot you have to slot – Gas Safe, F-Gas and the environment agency on an update on WEEE – 10 mins apiece should do.

I’m also getting dressed up for the occasion. I’m having the WTA logo put onto the short sleeve shirts I wear. If anyone wants one, PM me collar size & Small / Med / Large, I’ll bring them with me… (FOC to you guys as my mate does the embroidery and will only cost me a few pints & a kebab one Friday night)!
