We did that before Martin.
The problem being that, if you go further “South” than Brum then it makes sense to go to or near, London. Fun… not. 😉

Just to Let you all know if you havent already. The Hilton is no longer taking bookings on that rate. No rooms available it states.
However the Innkeeperslodge (Chain) nearby are still offering prebooked for £35. Im use to slumbing it. 😥Re: September 2010 Meeting

romms should now be available again…allocated rooms not taken are released 4 weeks before event..I have put another 10 rooms on and they will stay available for the next few days..after that telephone the hotel direct and if you go through to the worldwide booking centre(the staff are yanks) try again till you get through direct to the hotel.state UKWHITEGOODS meeting and you still should be able to get the rate..if not i should be able to sort it out on the day.
