    Hi All

    We are trying to gain the interest of a engineers only meeting to take place approx. last week of september.

    This would be a great time for you engineers to get together and discuss what ever you want to and how you want to.

    Again coventry seems to be a central to most people with good facilities and reasonable costs.

    Would you all prefer a friday meeting or a saturday meeting ?
    Would you be interested in attending ?

    How would it fall against the Sept WTA /UKW Meeting.. Would it be the day after or?

    There isn’t a suit’s meeting in september..It would be for engineers only.

    Numbers will be fewer than the last meet so how about a smaller venue with more reasonable costs.

    I will come anyway but with a stay at the Hilton costing more than flights to Spain I won’t be staying over.

    Hi Brian
    I am Interested, Friday would be best for me so I could stay Thursday night and stay until Saturday Morning.
    It would be great to meet up as normal and It is still worth a meeting even without the suits.

    Funny you say that as I will be in Spain around that time, so I’m out (sadly)

    I don’t think the venue is that expensive, Iv’e been thrown out of worse. I would like to attend as I missed the Feb one this year. Can’t be in two places at once though.

    I think a Saturday meeting could be a good move for the engineers mtg,Coventry works for me.
    Arrive Fri night leave Sun morning ?

    Sorry.. my mistake.. I thought the WTA/UKW meeting was every 6 months.. Feb & Sept.

    All that aside… Saturday is the best day I guess, since the next day is usually a day off.

    Count me in… If we are not having the normal meeting thn I will be there for the engineers meeting just as a catch-up and get-together.

    What is the reason for there not being an all trade meeting Bryan?

    Engineers only may be a less formal chinwag slagging off certain gripes and comparing notes I guess all the same. Electronics testing training day maybe? Test equipment usage training?

    Coventry is fine though food is crap and beer at ludicrous prices, but hey all hotels are much the same anyway.

    I hope to be there all the same. 😛

    I’d prefer the Friday if possible but the Saturday would be okay I guess.

    Sibson for the saturday is out the question as they are booked for weddings on the september which may also cause a problem for rooms on the friday but i will check.

    Me and the misses will be there…… Saturday would be great though! Would give me time to do a full weeks work 1st!
    Not too bothered about Coventry although a hotel in Torquay would be fantastic for us!!! lmao! 😀
