ParticipantHi,
I have posted a question yesterday and got some response, but can’t fin it again,so sorry if some one replied to the toppic, but I lost it.
It is a service fridge freezer model as above and serial 20054123688.Th freezer is working fine but the fridge is not getting cold.Fan in the freezer is working fine and the haul way is clear of ice.The air control theremostat in side the fridge is also workin fine.
The first time I went to the call the fridge was dead,I took the thermostat cover inside the fridge off and you coul hera the fan through the hole but there was no cold air coming through.I the changed the setting higher on the electronic thermostat and there was cold air coming through,I closed the door and opened it again, then using a magnit activated the door switch and there was no cold air again.First thing that jumped to my mind was, electronic module(theremostat),changed that, but still same fault.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!

ParticipantRETURN AIR VENT SOMETIMES FREEZE UP NEAR BOTTOM OF EVAPORATER.
WHY CHANGE PCB IF YOU HEAR FAN RUNNING.
SOUND LIKE THE FLAP MECH IN FRIDGE IS OUT OF CALIBRATION BUT YOU SAY IT WAS OPEN.
SO IF ITS OPEN AND THE FAN IS RUNNING AND THE VENTS ARE NOT BLOCKED WITH ICE COULD BE THE FAN IS RUNNING TO SLOW?September 12, 2006 at 4:00 pm #188280tintin

Thats why I said it is a strange one, have never seen this problem before.I took the flap mechanism of when I turned the temp up and it was cold for a minute or so.While placing the flap back I though I will test it one more time before I put the flap back and it was not blowing up any air again, that is what made me think that it is the PCB.
You say it might be that the fan is running to slow, but won’t you still feel some cold air coming through if the flap mechanism is of .
