Had a surprise phone call late this afternoon from Dave Bernard.
He tells me he has sussed out Rudolph, told me who it is, and that came as a shock; perhaps someone should warn Mr Hucker.
Any ways, after reading my post he says he feels there is a need to change the way they work with Glen Dimplex. Actually asked ME for ideas. Must be bloody desperate.
I think I might be playing along with this, looks like fun. Now there is money coming in, may be worth holding out. He knows though that I will not undertake Gias or GDH, so that leaves no work I suspect, but at least I’m on their books.

KeymasterThat’s interesting. To my knowledge Mr Bernard does not actually have access to the trade forums.
And the comparison is drawn with NESN once more.

He told me he is registered as DavidB or DaveB, not sure which. He also said Terry Jackson has access from his Powerhouse days, but didn’t know the log-in. I didn’t let on I knew.
He asked me who Ellie was, and I thought she was Helen Robson of S/Power, she did respond to a post as Hel, and showed a great interest when people were looking for agencies. However looking at her profile, she has been a member since Dec-2003, which something that Dave Bernard pointed out to me, may have been a red herring though.
It was an interesting conversation.

KeymasterYes he is registered, but doesn’t have access to the trade forums, it has never been requested.
Terry I’ve no idea when he was last online.
Ellie I don’t know who that is.

Terry was on-line Weds p.m. He phoned immediately after my post where I was saying I still hadn’t been paid, and I looked in at the time and saw him logged in.
Thursday I was at a meeting all day, but Friday I posted the one saying I had been paid, and mentioned the G.D.H. thing where jobs were closed down yet un-paid being incomplete. Dave B phoned me and quoted bits of that posting, and I know he didn’t get that from Terry J as Terry was at Aintree all day with his missus.
There must be a nark feeding information out on this lot.
We need to feed him some crap to send his head spinning I fancy.

KeymasterYeah there’s always some sad b4stard that’ll relay info to suit their own agenda.
I’m just leaving it alone for now to see what happens but I am told, reliably, that the intention is to sink SP and breath life back into the Elesco thing that Dave Ince and Trubshaw have been into since the NESN days.
I don’t much fancy working for megalomaniacs though.

I’ve worked out what the “something big” is. To be fair I worked it out a while back, I just wasn’t sure and I’m still not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} clear.
Of course I will do all in my power to fug it up for them. Given the history I won’t show a lot of mercy or sympathy.
I’ll tell you all more when I have more info and I’m absolutely sure of my ground.

Interesting, I got a call today from Graffters as did Sean, who are talking to GDHA about doing some warranty work for them.
Seems that Graffters also got shafted by the new guy in charge of service at Rangemaster as, basically, CDSL undercut them on labour but then (surprise, surprise) spanked up the prices of spares.
Isn’t it a shame that I own the http://www.4rangemaster.co.uk/ domain name! 😆
I can be so cruel at times, especially as I’ve set it to auto-renew. 😉
However that will mean that SP are left with a little draft and, I can’t say that my heart bleeds, even one tiny eencie little drop.
