im terriby sorry i cant get the exact model number as my man is away and i cant get behind the darn thing!
the problem is this……….when i turn it on it will start filling, then once filled the ‘start’ button flashes on and off constantly and the machine goes no further. if i take out most of the clothes and leave just a handful in, the machine will carry on washing. but what good is a machine that will only wash 5 items at a time? is there a fault somewhere or is my machine dying a slow death?

If you pull down the flap covering the drain pump filter (right hand side at the bottom) it will give you the two details we require. First off the model number which will begin with an ‘M’ and secondly the serial number which will start with either ’99’ or ’20’

Possibly a motor problem… I’d check (or get checked) the carbon brushes in the drive motor. Useful article HERE.
