KeymasterGot called to my wifes grandmother today as her oven is not working.
It is a Servis, Mod BFC371B, Typ B11, SNr 5860153000-710105The unit has power and the grill heats up OK.
When I switch it to oven I can hear the thermostat click as I turn the temperature contol up and the red power light comes on – but does not heat up.
Is the element gone? If so is this something I can change myself and can anyone please give me the part number / expected price / place to buy.
Thanks,
Jason.

Jason, is the oven fan assisted ?
Also, could you check the model number please, no listing for it.
Regards
Dave

Hi Dave,
Yes the oven is fan assisted.
I re-checked the model number today. I was looking at a label inside the oven door on the right hand side.
It says mod. BFC 371 B TYP. B11It also has two oven symbols. One with a line top and bottom followed by kW
and a second with a jagged line at the top followed by 2,5 kWAt the bottom of the label it says 230 V ~ 50 Hz 2,555 kW Max
I have a picture of the label which I can give you a link to if it helps
I have the owners guide which covers models BS 331, BF 341 and this one BFC 371 (some of these models are conventional and other fan assisted as the guide covers both).
Any use to you?
Regards,
Jason

Nope 🙁
I phoned the current Servis national spares distributor and they don’t have it listed either, it must be an old model.
Photo the fan element and email me the photo, I should be able to supply a replacement no problem.
I didn’t get your email about the Bosch pump either 😉

Hi Dave,
I will get the photo taken and drop you an e-mail.
It may be quite old but not really old – the owner guide is dated 03/97 and has reference number 99537051-00
I was waiting to see if you could help on the element front before sending the bosch pump e-mail as I thought both parts could be posted together. I can sort of the bosch pump e-mail today.

Hi Dave
I have the very same model as mentioned above and the very same problem with the element. I’ve been trying to find a Servis spares stockist here in Ireland without success. Do you supply to Ireland? If so, could you let me know how much it would cost for the part and shipping (to 30 kilometres from central Dublin)? If not, do you know who I might contact to get the part?
Many thanks

Not a problem Stephen, I worked out which one this was after Jason emailed me a picture of it.
It’s actually a Brandt made cooker, so if you go to the shop and order this one:
The shipping is on top of the £16.99 for the element, ROI is not a problem for the shipping either 😀
