Servis Caress 900 washing cold

Hello
Moved into a furnished flat+there was Servis Caress 900 washer dryer installed. 9 times out of 10 it seems to wash in cold water regardless of the programme I put it on (the only programme where it eventually gets hot is a very drawn out-seems to last hours-95 degree option which doubles my leccy bill. I switch the water heater on well before wash so I know there’s hot water available but it never seems to heat up e.g. going on 40 degree wash now+it’s freezing. I’m wary about pulling machine out (it’s in a “bay” under sink work surface) in case I pull something loose. Don’t know if significant but when I put heater on+run hot water out of tap, it’s a trickle/v. low pressure.
Is the above normal? Any ideas if it’s not? Thanks in advance Billy.

The very low pressure is likely to be the problem. Or the hot fill hose could be kinked behind the machine. Or the hot inlet valve either faulty or its fine mesh filter blocked. Sadly it’s got to come out from where it sits in order to investigate further. 🙁
