Servis constant filling and pumping

Hi

I have a Servis Easi logic 1500 model M9505W.

I have replaced the pump which had picked up a lump of plastic from the washing.

I have done this before with no problem, but this time, when starting to run any wash cycle the machine fills constntly and pumps straight down the drain.

Have checked its not syphoning.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If not syphoning….Water in the pressure switch?? Did you lay the machine down on its right hand side? If, other than the pump out original problem the machine was ok before hand then I can only think of this. The pressure swt is usually a circular shape though did come across an oblong one on occasions either at the rear near the main t/block or more commonly attached to the X chassis member near the front right, both have a black thin pipe attached to it that goes down to the sump hose ( via the air trap). Only a guess!!! The pump only has 2 wires …..unless of course there is a fault with the pump windings- remove if possible the pumps plastic stator cover and see of the windings are burnt. The valves and pump are often wired on the neutral side and if there is an electrical problem one can affect the other- check the valve solenoids too visually for any plastic swelling.

Thanks for your help.
I did tilt the machine forwards onto the front door side but not as much as 45 deggree.
Have checked the pressure switch, no water in it, when blown into can hear switch work. Little bit of water drained from pipe when layed to floor level. Can blow down it with no blockage.
Soleoids hav no swellings. They open when starting,stay open with pump emptying, when cycle selector put to off solenoids close but not until pump emptied out.
Old blocked pump windings were burnt, new ones still ok.
Am sure I replaced 2 wires on pump as they were. Could they cause this problem if reversed ???

Hmm if I`m reading this right you say the pump windings were burnt…..not good, probable that the pc board has blown in that case- your best bet is to have a good look at it for blown tracks. The pump wires around the wrong way is not a problem as the pump will only turn one direction due to the stator/windings design.
