    Machine Model is M9150W
    S/N 20035113346

For the past week my Servis Easi Logic 1500 Washer Dryer has smelled like it’s burning when washing. 🙁
However, this does not happen on a cold wash. It smells like an electrical burn and comes from the top right hand corner of the machine, when looking at the back.

Unfortunately, I do not have a manual for the machine and I was wondering if anyone had an idea what could be wrong with it?

I was going to ring a repair person tomorrow, but I’m worried that a call out and repair would could cost as much as a new washing machine, as spares for Servis models are so expensive. 🙁

I would really appreciate your help and advice.

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

Without opening it up and seeing what’s causing it it’s impossible to be sure, it could be a number of things including just a mains switch.

An instruction manual wouldn’t have helped you in all honesty.

Thank you, I must admit I instantly assumed it would have to be something major for it to smell of electric burning, but hopefully not.
