Servis Easi Logic 1600 Washer – tripping electricity

Hi all,

At the weekend all of our electrics tripped out and we traced the problem back to the washing machine.

Every time we turned it on it tripped out the whole house…

Anyone got any ideas what is likely to be the cause? I took the back off for a quick look but couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary.

On inside of door or filter flap .

Could be Heater or Motor

Me thinks Washman was trying to tell you the model started with an M and was not swearing at you!

To try and answer the question……

If you plug it in and switch on at the wall and it trips, the mains supprssor will be the culprit.

If the machine is plugged in and trips when you switch the actual appliance on, you need to do earth checks through the heater and motor. One of them is almost certainly the culprit.
