Servis Fridge – Acceptable temp fluctuations

Hi,

I have a spare fridge in the garage, Its in integrated under worktop fridge, I believe its a Servis M785.

I want to check if its working, which it seems to be, but done a quick temp check with a temp probe mounting inside, and the temp fluctuates quite a bit. roughly by 4 -5 C

I was wondering what is an acceptable fluctuation?

It should operate 1.5 degrees either side of the set point

Would you say its accept then, its quite an old fridge I think

If you can get it to operate in the range +3C – +6/7C I wouldnt worry too much. The original spec for a domestic fridge was between 5 and 8C.
