Servis M0330W FF

Got called out to this FF for warm fridge problem. The usual drain hole blocked and ice blocking vent but rest of evaporator clear. Melted ice and checked everything was ok. But what i did notice was that the fan was pulsing instead of running continuasly, ie it would start up for 3-4 seconds and then cut out and then cut back in again before the fan actualy comes to a stop. It just does this continuasly. Is this a fault possibly with board or has any one seen this before?

Fan shouldn’t run if the fridge door is open and not start for about 20 mins after turn on. They had to redesign the module on this so a serial no would be helpful.

Hi Rob

S/N 20030810702. The fan starts up straight away after turning on the fridge even though the evaporator had been completely defrosted. It still only operates when the fridge door is closed though. But just pulses.

module faulty i have had this quite a few times just pulsing. cut the wires and meter what supply you are getting.
