Servis M3010W: does nothing but drain

Hi,

I wondered if anyone might be able to suggest what might be broken with my Servis M3010W washing machine. The symptoms are:

* when turned on to progamme 1 (90 degree prewash) the drum fills about 1/3 full. The drum doesn’t start to rotate and programme does not advance
* if set to any other programme setting the washer just runs the drain pump continuously
* the electromechanical programmer can be heard to be ticking and does rotate, but the programmes don’t advance
* at no programme setting can the drum be made to rotate
* All water inputs are ok, the drain pump is working

* I tried disconnecting the tube to the pressure sensor. Behaviour is the same both with and without the tube connected. Blowing down the tube is possible and air exits at the far end. blowing into the pressure switch activates it correctly.

I’m able enough to repair the thing myself, I’m just not sure where the fault lies. (I did try to get in touch with Servis but it seems they’ve gone bust.) If anyone could offer me a pointer I’d be most grateful!

This is probably the electronic module – if you post its part number which is on the label starting 546 we’ll advise further.
