    Hi there.

Had a strange one today, wahsing machine.Put the machine on a wash cycle and it will wash normally, drum turning, pumping out water etc.But when it comes to spinning there is no spin.Still drains the water, but no spin.

Checked brushes and motor all seems fine, checked module and that seems fine.

    Has anybody had this before.

    Thanks so long.

    Cheers.

used to work for these. that moat thing around the castle.

Common fault with these 3 edge modules not spinning , you could try dropping the motor to the bottom then replacing belt to create big tension
if spins okay, only problem is that enhances bearing fallure. otherwise replace module (there normally will be no evidence of pcb failure)

    hope thi helps

Earth leak on the heater can cause a no spin fault – unplug it and try the spin cycle again. 😉 Servis modules sometimes won’t spin if there’s not a sufficiently large enough (or correctly balanced) load in the drum. Only test the spin cycle when drum is loaded to eliminate that possibility. To replace the module, EMW do a good range around £30-35 ish.
    Hope this helps!!

Don’t forget to check the pressure switch and chamber.
