Customer reporting spin fault, on test it went into full spin with no load test, customer says failing to go into fast spin.

now im stuck normally when no drum action its circuit board resistor failure, or failing iv had capacitor failure on these models before now, next comes the induction motor in third place?

Whats it likley to be as it did spin with no load? iv not tested it with full load as yet and customer says its failed with part loads and full loads.

also board number is remco 560101
with 20uf cap

just priced parts for board and cap and come through at around £20 so it viable to change both as long as its not likely to be the motor!!

the board is listed on qualtex as SER546001402
and on board on machine is 560101? will it fit?

I’m surprised you didn’t test the capacitor. Worth getting a meter with uF scale on, they’re cheap enough now.

yes your right about keeping a test meter for capacitors its frustrating and it makes all the difference at times, i changed both board and cap in end and running fine now.

i need an auto ranging test meter that powers down if left on, as well as a torch that does the same, one that can bounce as well and also water proof and leads that can withstand being wrapped around the rest of my tools if it makes plenty of beeping noises the customers like them sort, maybe have a high voltage stun feature to disarm annoying customers wouldent go a miss, 😆

if it has a long white timer its that ,otherwise its a 22uf capacitor,if its the module you get NDA
