Servis M3905 wiring diagram

Has anyone out there got a wiring diagram for a servis M3905 that you could e-mail me? I’ve got to go to one of these tomorrow where the belt has shredded, ripped out all the wiring from the backplate and wrapped the whole lot around the motor pulley. Nice.

hi,

No diagram but,

the four wires to the stat are two different diameters and just two colours. The heater wires are much longer and easy to recognise as you unravell the motor pulley, the earths are also easy.

This usually happens because the tub back spins (anti clockwise) on the tub, due to the location spigot breaking off the tub at the 12 oclock position, worth checking as the element is also likely to be bent too.

It’ll have taken out the PCB for sure, every one we’ve been to has done so. It happens a fair bit and they’re a nightmare that’s best avoided, usually a total mess. 🙁

You could be right Ken. I’ve not seen it for myself yet, but it could be a case of taking a look and walking away! However, if I go armed with the wiring diagram it might just turn a BER into a paying job.
