    This dishwasher seems to be wanting to continually empty, even though it is empty, if I put water in the bottom of the machine, it does drain away properly but never stops pumping. Th lights did flash on/off, but now no lights are illuminated. The on/off switch has no effect, pump operates even if its switched off, the only way I can stop it is to pull the plug! Looking to me like a new machine is needed!

    Flood protection operating? There’s a float switch mechanism in the tray under the machine which will run the drain pump regardless of the programming.

    Power off, drain off, find the leak.

    thanks very much for the information, do you know of anywhere I can download a manual from, the user guide that came with the machine is no good at all with respect to troubleshooting.
