    Hi

Was the board pre programed , if not it is waiting to be programed with the Janus programer device.

If it was a NEW board it would be blank and the machine programmes itself when you first switch it on.

If it was an OLD or RECON board it needs to be programmed to the code of the machine using the Janus kit.

If you have the old board link the R1 resistor. This resistor goes open circuit and gives you the dead symptoms.

Test r1 on the old board it should read the same as r2.

If no circuit through r1 then I would just link across r1. Use a piece of wire soldered from one leg of r1 to the other leg of r1.

Put the board back in machine and it should all be ok.

Send the new board back and get your money back.

I’ve by-passed r1 many times with no issues.
