servis m6005 door

machine in rented property previous tennants dog chewed door and boot new tennant said door not shutting properly. fitted boot and interlock but cant get the latch to make the interlock operate unless I take off the trim and push the catch(springs ok). cant see any distortion on the door or machine have ordered new (special order electrue) but was wondering if anyone else has had similar, especially as this machine has fold back type hinge.

had this problem before, was the door interlock the same as the one you took off the appliance or was it looks the same differant colour, if so the door latch pecker does not make contact, dont ask why but a genuine interlock solved the problem somthing to do with the length of the door pecker catch according to servis technical.

Had same problem and was down to replacment door lock, had to order a gen part (normally use hotpoint wm interlocks if it’s the type with a removable latch plate they work great but not this time!)

thanks lads. original was rold new one metalex Ill order again, it was supposed to be genuine but it just came lose in a bag.
