    Hi,

    I have a Servis M6115 washing machine.

When it starts a wash cycle it will fill with water, turn round the drum a few times, then stop. It doesn’t think it has finished, it just doesn’t do anything. It does this on all hot, cold short and long cycles (so doesn’t seem to be waiting for it to heat up?). If I put it on a pump/spin cycle it will start pumping out then never stop pumping out.

Does this sound like a module fault, or something else? Is there anything else I can do to diagnose it?

    Thanks

Heater Element leaky to Earth would probably be most likely or faulty pressure switch.
You need a good Multimeter or Megger to check it out.

PLEASE REMEMBER POWER OFF & PLUG OUT BEFORE OPENING IT UP.

The problem you have is quite common and caused by a poor solder joint on the back of the main module.

The poor solder joint is on one of the relays which switch the motor on/off.

Clean the solder joint up and re-solder.

    That should do the trick.

Make sure the machine is unplugged from the electrics and label any wiring if you take connectors off.

If you feel this is to involved for you to undertake please find a local engineer to call out.
