ParticipantHi i have a problem Servis M6135 which had originally stopped and would’nt do anything (sorry i dont have any more details on this as a colleague originally went and fitted a module) i went on the call back and now it goes through the cycle ok but after the spin it sits there pumping continuously.About every 2 mins all the lights flash and it makes a clicking sound and goes on pumping until it is reset manually. I checked things like the pressure switch, chamber, heater, motor, valves all seem ok. So i ordered another module, put it on today and it is still the same fault :hmm: any help would be brilliant thanks

Pressure switch or blocked pressure system maybe ?
It sounds like a “I’m not empty yet” problem 😉

Hi
I have had a similar problem and found that it was the edge connector on module not making good contact ,so now I always squeeze connectors to make better contact.

I’m sure that when this machine came out there was a problem with some of them not ending the cycle completely. To rectify this you had to change the module. Are they new modules you fitted or recons?

They were brand new ones, i normally order recon ones from EMW because they have always given us great service and advice on faults. But this is a job for a warranty company that sends us the parts so we have fitted new ones.

DOH! 😕 i was so sure tightening the connectors was gonna work but it hasn’t thanks for the advice though i will tighten the the connections when i change these modules now. The pressure chamber and switch seemed fine too. Any advice on this would be much appreciated as i am pulling my hair out :bang:

Assuming all contacts are good, no low insulation, no blockages. Two things left.
1) Try a different wall socket. (Had some strange faults on dodgy wall sockets)
2) Give up.

On all SUK machines with this type of selector always put dial to stop before reprogramming and wait for the start button to flash.Tell customer to do this every time even if the same prog is required. These can remember parts of previous programmes, ie they spin only, continuously fill or wash forever. This will clear the memory. Had three like this this week. Nice little earner.

Thats interesting i knew problems occured with the Indesits but didn’t know with Servis, although i was testing it and was reseting in between spins. I wish i had tried the plug in another socket. This job is for a extended warranty and the company that gives us the work always choose to repair there machines no matter how many parts need to be changed so thats why i haven’t given up yet. Thanks for all the advice everyone i am very grateful :salute:

I have changed 2 modules on this model and it seems that it does a wash but will not finish, ie continue to end. It does a complete wash, rinse, spin etc but dosn`t finish?????????? Is there a mechanical timer in these? Previously the motor had to be changed due to it shorting out because of a water leak. serious head scratching

have had the same problem with this machine after picking up someone elses recall, its had 2 modules ,display board, and door switch. i reset it after every try but still made no difference this 1 had been ongoing since nov 06,have now passed it back to insurance company to write off, which i dont like doing. it would be nice to what is causing it if only for future reference.
