Servis M6135 – not going thru cycle

Hi.
My Servis M6135 will not go thru it’s cycle. We have replaced the PCB, and the fault persists. Servis technical have been helpful, but to no avail, and you guys seem pretty switched on (excuse the pun!) so look forward to some help. Another forum suggested that it could be a heater element problem? Trouble is, I don’t want to keep paying out for replacement parts that don’t solve the problem. We live in rural inland spain, so trying to find a technical bod of any sort is nigh on impossible, and the postage costs are astronomical!

put the machine on a program and wait about 10 minutes
if you can`t hear a kettle heating noise it is most likely the element
if it heats but then won`t finish and is stuck with water in then it is probably the pump or a blocked hose
that is about as basic as we can get
