Hi Everyone,

My Niece turned the knob while the machine was mid cycle. No matter what I do now I can’t get the washer to start. If I turn it to Stop, the start light flashes like normal, but when I turn it to a program and press start, the start button comes on as if it’s going to start, then flashes. The power light also flashes slowly at this point.

Any ideas gratefully received!

have you tried holding in the start button for about 5 secconds?

Yes I have tried that, on both Stop and on a program. Also tried holding it in whilst turning the power on whilst the dial is on Stop and on a program.

I was wondering if there’s some sort of magic reset sequence (although I’m assuming the 5 second thing is as far as it goes……..)?

give the door a gentle slam to make sure it is engaging interlock properly and try that
