Can you help with a problem I’m having with my fridge.
I have a Servis M7050S S/N 20012023186 it’s freezing the contents of the compartment at whatever setting is selected.

Is it likley to be a thermostat problem or could the temp selector switch be shot? If it is something like this could you recommend somewhere I could obtain the parts.

Your help and advise is greatly apreciated.

    Jon.

    Jon,
Give us a bit of info with regards the symptons.

    1) Is the compressor (motor) running continuously?
    2) If you back off the thermostat knob, does it “click”; or stop the compressor?

This’ll give the fridge lads a bit to go at.

    Regards,
    Penguin45.

Thanks for the reply, sorry its been a while for my response.

I think it’s running constantly, the control wheel inside seems to have little or no effect even when turned off?! It has been defrosted and seems better than it was.

    Thanks.

    Jon.

Yes the back wall has a layer of ice, I think it’s all the way down from memory. It’s not down to freezing temps but things freeze sometimes if they are in for a longer period. I dont know exactly what temp its at?

    Thanks.
