We have a Servis M7554 fridge freezer that is too cold. Ice forms on the back of the fridge compartment and food at the bottom of the fridge compartment freezes solid. We have tried turning the setting down to the lowest level, but it is still too cold.
My wife thinks that the problem started after she went away on holiday and the door was left slightly ajar. This was quite some time ago. The fridge freezer has been defrosted a few times since the fault appeared.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what is causing the problem, and any possible solution.
I think you may advised to call an engineer for this model to be honest, it has a standard thermostat and electronic controls to control the temperatures, it may be one of those has failed or one of the sensors.
