Have a customer complaining that her Servis M785 doesnt drain water from fridge, this is a built in appliance, she says that the drain hole “seems” to be solid & theres a pool of water on floor of appliance, just wondering if these are posibly prone to freezing up the plug hole & she said there used to be some kind of red cap on it but now she doesn’t know where it is. I don’t see much of Servis & usually find it to be pretty crap stuff..

😆
You’re not far wrong there 😉
The red plug is the “tool ” that’s with the fridge for customers to use to unblock the drain, it’s probably blocked but expect the worse (insulation problems).
Hi,
Servis uk Fridges often have the insulation blocking the drain hole…a screwdriver fixes it.
On the same sort of theme. Their frost free f/freezers have a little rubber tube, about 1″ long above the compressor tray and this sticks together and stops the thing draining and ice inside the freezer. I rub it between fingers to remove the stickyness and give a dit of a tube effect. Havn’t been back to one since.
