    Customer has Servis Platinum washer dryer s/no 20032909099. Symptoms are Machine will not fill but will spin. Dryer seems to work but condensor inlet valve kicks open and closes repeatedly as if unit cannot supply enough power to valve and fan does not run. Also when trying to turn drum the illuminated start light goes dim and there is a whine from the front panel. Motor is one of the newer square type (not SOLE). Is this likely to be the Minisel module and/or motor as well or something else . Cust cannot find receipt.
    Or should I quit whilst Im ahead.

    Must admit I dont know that model. But this sort of fault is usually down to the module. Could be costly given Servis prices but QER http://www.qer.biz or EMW http://www.emwelec.co.uk/ may help with an exchange or repairing the old module.

    yes but its just one of the three boards in machine!

    all the ones iv seen have been the module on top right hand side, normally motor blows them hope this is of help smartin
