Servis M9090 Spin problems

Hi Guys,

I have the above machine which does not spin after it takes water in.

If I put it on the spin programme it does but not on the wash programme.

I have checked the small speed control module on the rear of the machine with no burnt tracks.

Customer said that there was a bang a while ago.But I cannot find any burnt part.

It has got induction motor so that would not be problem?

Any Ideas?

Is the pressure system blocked, if its holding the pressure switch thinking its full of water it wont spin?

Well it is not blocked.

It starts taking water in and then when it takes the required amount,it cuts off and then when it needs to spin it does not.

Also it drains properly.

Well I thought that these motors are induction motors so if the capacitor was gone then it would not run on the spin cycle

Do you agree?

does the machine spin with a load in it? capacitors can be weak that is tests ok with a meter but not put out enough of a charge to spin. if its loaded it will just go round 1/2 a turn and then fall back if the capacitor is faulty.
check the heater if there is no circuit through it or has a short it can cause spin proplems.
another thing is that the belt should be really tight also causes spin problems.
