ParticipantServis M9503 Washer Dryer
Ser: 20072307650-0140 77 068-01 02This machine is tripping the RCD that covers the plugs and cooker.
The RCD only trips when the machine is on wash (not dry) and goes into either a short or a long spin… It does not trip when the machine tumbles.
The machine had a replacement motor in October when the machine had the exact same problem.
Any thoughts on the cause of this would be appreciated…

Yes , had one of these like that ….. if I remember, it was catching on a very serrated unfinished tank seam . worth a check

Does anyone have the service info for this machine? if so, can I have a copy please.
Might as well go out to it and just confirm if the motor is gone or not.

This machine is tripping the RCD that covers the plugs and cooker.
Thought the ring main (sockets) would be seperate from the cooker (radial) unless it’s taking everything out? Out of touch with house wireing these days.

No… you are not out of touch… This flat has a ring main that covers all plugs and the cooker…
I questioned this with the tenant and he tells me that he has spoken to his landlord about it.

If it has those plastic convoluted hoses from the inlet to dispenser, the ones with v joints, check for leakage from there. They seem to leak for fun and also get abraded by the rough edge of the plastic condenser housing a few mm away. Resulting in a drip or a stream onto motor.
