the push connecter block on the module has burnt itself stuck to the main module on pin 1 and 7 from the left, this is the push block you can undo with out taking the module out of its housing, is there any reason for this or just change the board, the other problem was when the motor turned there is a power surge and the washer dryer flickers on/off, i presume this is because of the module.no sign of water on the module.

Hi,
the reason for burning is poor contact with the type of tags used. The old type AMP tags are the best replacement and I’ve done it many times. I would think the surge is due to the module but the only way to prove it is a replacement from EMW who will be pleased to receive the old burnt one.
