ParticipantHi all, I’m hoping that one of you boffins out there can help me on this one cos it’s doing my head in.
Got a call to go to a Servis w/d model M9713s needing a new module. How do you know it needs a new module I asked the customer? Cos it aint got one he replied. “Someone else came to look at it, took the module away and has never been seen since”. So I managed to identify the module from connections, got a nice picture up, took the part no from the label (546029001, DMPDC FO LA) and ordered one from EMW. After fitting the new module, checked out motor action (OK) then put it on a program. NO FILL. It was at this point that the customer informed me that that’s what happened when the other people tried to repair it. It appears that they did return with a replacement module, worked on spin but no fill. Stuck to the top of the dispenser I found a Europart sticker for a Servis module no 546021800 which I guess is the one the other people tried but I believe that this is not the right one anyway. The original snag was no spin by the way. After delving a bit further I found in addition to the 3 multi edge connectors CNA, CNB and CNC there were 2 more single wires marked F1 and F2 hanging free. Eventually I found a single tag in the corner of the board marked F2 which I then connected, but alas no F1. After cursing myself for missing it (although I had never seen a Servis board with these extra connections before) I tried the machine again but still no fill. Tested the pressure switch with a meter- appears ok. When you select a wash programme 40 cotton for example, after thinking about things for a few seconds as normal, instead of the water valves energising, all you get is this secondary pump thingy running which I guess is something to do with the dryer as one of the pipes runs up to the heater box and the other goes to the filter box. The machine itself is pretty good for a Servis, stainless tub, Bosch motor etc and only about 18 months old. Also, the dryer motor runs during the rinses. Dryer works Ok
So what the hell do I do next? Has anybody come across this before? Sorry to be so long-winded, but I thought you needed all the facts. Wish I’d never seen the bl**dy thing in the first place.
Yours,
in desperation,

First thing we need is the serial number as there are two modules fitted dependant on production date.
One is 546043100 and the other 546029000.
I may be able to sort a wiring diagram as well if you ask me nicely 😉 :lol2:

Thanks to both of you.
The original fault as far as I am led to believe was no motor action. Because someone else has had a go at it, I’ve no idea what they’ve been playing with. At least I now have a beautiful wiring diagram to help(?) me!
Anyone speak Italian?Thanks again guys
Dave
