    Hi everyone

The door seal on our washing machine has been on its way out for a while now and has finally let go (the big pool of water on the floor gave it away lol 🙂 )

I’ve never touched a washing machine before, is it easy to replace ?? I’ve taken a quick look at it and it looks like there is a metal ring holding it in. Is it just a case of removing this ring them pulling the seal out ? or is it bigger job than that.

Also are they easy to get hold of ??? And do i need to buy / replace anything else when doing this job.

    Thankyou

    Joel. 🙂

part should be available from the shop ,the door seal itself isn’t too bad to fit its as you describe it ,except there will be a little spout at 6oclock that can be a pig to fit .
any doubts repairs @ should find you a repairer ,power off plug out before you go in though

Two wire clamp bands; there is a scew band on the front of the tub as well. The job is awkward rather than difficult, as you are working into the narrow gap between the tub and the casing. Patience is the key.

Please check the model number – the only references I’m getting are motor bike tyres and wedding dresses….. 😀
