Had a couple of these the past few weeks were the main connections on the module connector block have all burnt up.. sent to EMW and they can repair it no prob..

Just had one back though and noticed that part of printed circuit must have blown as well as connector block burnt up.. obviously shuould have checked better 😳 but as m/c not starting and no neutral at door lock and burnt up module mains connector jumped to conclusion that the prob.

B4 I go back to replace module wondered if any of you folks out there come across this b4.. not the connector block burn up but the neutral missing from door lock and the burnt off track.. Have they had probs like H/Point where the door interlock is blowing the pcb track off?

Sorry I don’t have a model no for this m/c as just took of module for repair but the module no is 546057600-04 and the track that has blown off was the eighth connection from the edge and looks like it goes to a thin square thingy with three legs (might be named jake 🙂 ).. sorry for vague discript but just wondered if any one can help..

    Thanks
    Mick

    Hi

The main connector blocks do burn out , when replacing pcb replace connector block with crimp terminals. And make sure all connectors on pcb are a tight fit

i did replace a blown board, new board supplied by e.m.w who included a little note about the problem of burntout connector blocks. as described above i fitted crimped terminals and all has been well since…this was about 2years ago. 8) this of course will be the note which means i will soon get a call from the customer!
