Hello,
Can anyone advice on the issues I am having with our fridge freezer? details above.
A couple of weeks ago it started to build up ice in the evaporator blocking the duck to the fridge section at the top. I defrosted the evaporator with a blowdrier and measured the heater and sensors with a multimeter but without specifications from the manufacturer I really can’t tell whether they are within the right range or not. Here are the readings in case that’d help someone with better knowledge to diagnose the problem.

Heater element – 311-316 ohms
Thermal fuse (brown reddish case) cold freezer – 00.5 ohms
Thermistor sensor (white case) Cold freezer – 22k ohms. – Dropping as it got warmer.

The problem is still there and it seems to take a few days 5-6 to get back to a completely iced up evaporator.

Oddly, I have noticed a cold patch in one of the external walls of the fridge part, top half, with some condensation forming in a small area. This could be completely unrelated but I don’t think I’ve noticed it before.
