Hi, I have just had the control board (with all the buttons on) replaced I think it is bitron code 56259 merloni code 516020201 because of a clicking problem and display loss. now the dishwasher will not heat up and it will not finish a cycle.
We have an extended warranty on this product but cannot find an engineer in the whole of the teesside (and north east) area as the previous company who fixed it will not come back out despite getting over £280 from the insurance (yes I know it should have been junked but they didn’t agree).

can anybody offer some repair suggestions?

The problem is your insurers to find an engineer to be honest, not yours.

Why are the previous repair company not prepared to call back ?

If you want to point the insurer to a repairer, check the repairs@ link below, that should find someone 🙂

The repair people had a quick look when they replaced the faulty control unit and said they did not know what could be wrong with it and left and will not come back, I searched hi and low for them in the first place and they traveled 60 miles as they are the closest

Hi, I found a repair agent but the warranty company will not pay for anymore work as they believe it was not fixed correctly by the last company and the repair company wont come back as they say it is a new fault. Flogging a dead horse with this time for the skip unless somebody knows were I can get a repair manual to look at the thermostat and heating element
