Servis Quartz 2150 Spin

I have a servis Quartz 2150 Washing Machine.

The machine is not spinning properly. It reaches it’s full spin speed, but only spins for about 10 seconds and then slows down. As a result clothes are coming out as wet as they went in.

Any Ideas?, Timer?, Brushes?

Can you post the full model number please, it should begin with M??? and be inside the filter door, bottom right hand corner.

Try it empty on spin only and let me know what happens please.

Hi Dave,

Tried it empty on spin. it seems to do the same as if a load was in. The washer spins slow, but when it starts it’s fast spin cycle it speeds up gets up to spin speed and after probably no more than 10 seconds it slows down again and just spins slowly.

It sounds like a control module problem in that case, but this of course will need to be correctly diagnosed.

Probably best if an engineer takes a look for you really, take a look at the directories and repairs@ on the left there and see if there’s someone near you, if not, pop your postcode up and someone should be able to assist.
