We have inherited a servis quartz washing machine model M6031AL, trouble is the washing is coming out very hot! When put on a 40 degree wash and then after the final spin the clothes come out VERY warm, is this correct? We have checked if everything is connected to the right place. HELP!!! 😥

I would imagine its been plumbed in wrong. In a nutshell the hot hose is on the cold valve and vica versa.

    Hi

It looks like the hot and cold fill pipes are connected the incorrect way.

Put the appliance onto a rinse cycle and see if its hot water going into the machine

Thanks for replies, we checked (well dad did) and it seems to be plumbed in correctly, how hot should the laundry be anyway? Is it worth getting a professional to look at it? or a new machine? 😕

    Hi

At the end of a wash the clothes should be cold as all the rinses should be in cold water. If clothes are coming out hot, the fill hoses are fitted the wrong way round.

At the end, it should be clap-cold. Therefore, as the other posters have said, reverse the fill hoses as you are rinsing in hot water instead of cold.
