Servis Washer Drier M9309

Machine is dead when on tumble dry. There is live coming out of the door switch but no live on any of the drier timer spades. The 3 stats/TOCs on the top all check out OK. Any ideas? Every wire is black so it’s not easy to trace the wiring. 🙄

think you will find the positive supply into dryer timer will be supplied via main wash timer when set for drying cycle. you will need to trace this supply.

Thanks John. The door switch I mentioned is not the main washer interlock but an extra switch that sits on the top of the interlock. I assume this is so you can open the door to check on drying progress.

have you checked the half load button as that supplies the dryer.

😳 Thanks Bob, pressed that in and away she went. I would never have thought of pressing that one. The machine is one of 4 the local secondhand shop brought here for test/repair.
