Servis Washing machine M6160W resets timer on spin

Hi and a Happy New Year to you all
I have a Servis washer M6160W that has a problem on spin only
It times down from 12 minutes and starts to spin normally then when gets to 10 or sometimes 6 minutes all lights flash and the timer goes back to 12 minutes again. The customer reported it also on more than one occation took the mains trip out
Any suggestions?

Its got to be a fault with the motor and possibly the module also I’m afraid 🙁

hi johnny, did 1 of these last week. it was the control board. although the bloke at qer said “it could have blown due to afaulty motor” not had a call back yet 😀 so lets hope it was just the board ❓

Try meggering the motor. If OK,put it on a spin and see what its earth resistance is like hot. Check also for sparking on spin.
