    There are 10 terminals altogether, If you look at the board from the coil end
    is this the layout of the terminals as follows

    My M6216AL is back up and running as well. Thanks to you both for your help.

    Once I’d cleaned up my board, there turned out to be enough copper left that I could just bridge the terminals with a blob of solder!

    *Sigh* Two problems running in one thread – I wish you guys wouldn’t do that….

    Sorry, I thought my problem was so similair to paul161201’s that this would be the best place to post; I’m used to seeing people get flamed for starting a new thread unnecessarily.

    Bear in mind that these are budget appliances and there is no factory support (It was pretty laughable anyway) available, as Servis is now bust. All these machines are on borrowed time.

    To be honest, I didn’t expect to get >7 years out of this thing, so it salves my conscience slightly that it’s not off to landfill just yet. Hopefully I’ll get a few more years out of it before I have to go searching for a second hand ISE 😉
