ParticipantNot been there yet, going Monday. Customer says it just reads 48′ on all programmes and won’t budge.
Took a bit of glass out the drain pump for him about 3 weeks ago.
😕 Any clues?Mike.

Will it reset OK? If it does the heater may be open circuit?

OK, thanks Martin. In that case the first place I’ll look is the module! Not that I give no credence to your advice. On the contrary, I’ll be looking for that burnt relay joint 🙂 .
Thing is, round ‘ere the water ‘e be soft like un’ I ain’t seen a opin circut ‘eater more’n once ‘n five yer.
Anyway, I’ll let you know and thanks again for the pointer.

Went there today, reset OK. Set to eco wash and it sounded as if it was just pumping. Tipped it back but no water emerged. Removed left side panel and found red float stuck by thin film of dried gunge. Cleaned, replaced, started fine, left it whirring away instructing customer to keep an eye on it whilst letting it run through rest of programme.
Couple of hours later, phone rings – its flooded floor. ❓
Ring back this evening and its apparently stuck on 47 mins now, which is where it was when they switched it off.
Going back Weds afternoon. Told them not to reset it – they probably don’t know how anyway.
Any further thoughts appreciated.

No fault found on or around heater and it is heating. Brought module away for close inspection. Checked the three 5v relays. All seem fine, though didn’t open them up. Module has that immaculate look that screams at you, “there’s nothing wrong with me, you’re barking up the wrong tree”. No way am I going to risk £70+ for a new module, so it’s back to machine, re-install, quick check over and explain situation, then gracefully exit stage right.
Unless anyone’s got any better ideas.
