    Hi everyone,

As you may be able to see, I’ve been keeping a Bosch machine alive for some time. I think it now needs a new control board…the cost doesn’t seem worth it. Can you confirm my diagnosis?
Essentially the machine appears to have a fault with the Auto mode. When you select this mode it will occasionally wash. However, after washing when you switch the machine on, the pump runs even if there is no water in the bottom of the machine. Pressing the reset buttons does not stop this, nor does a power cycle at the socket. It will run in other modes, but not always.
I’ve checked for blockages, I’ve taken the control board out and can’t see any obvious faults with it. Machine heats as normal and will take in/out water as normal when in a cycle.

Any other things I should check/ any other thoughts?

    Many thanks

Forget the control board as I don’t think you have issues there, instead:

Remove the side panels and check for any water in the base moulding. Is suspect the there is water in there and the water inlet matrix needs cleaning etc etc…..?

Power unplugged before going in. :zap:

    Thanks Martin,
I had cleaned them recently, but clearly not well enough!
Will try and then let you know the outcome.
Using a cheap Currys Essentials machine I bought from a friend…I can see the difference now!
