    Having sucessfully fixed the heater element problem last year – I now have a new challenge. The little box you put the dish washer tablet into closes and latches OK, unlatches OK if you trip the little plastic lever – but does not release the tablet during the wash phase (or at all)

    Any views?

    Probably the PTC actuator on the box failed. P/no 166635, order from http://www.bshappliancecare.com – cheap.

    You need to look from the inside of the door to be sure. Mind the edges, they’re lethal.
