wondering if anyone can shed light on the following:
    – machine started early morning, when I came home from work machine was still “running” after approx 5 hours. Opened the door and there was approx 1″ of water. The machine seemed to be filling and draining continuously (this continued with door open). There was a regular clicking noise. It seems like the machine can reach the end of the cycle. The load was clean so probably near the end of the cycle. With water off, the sump will clear (pump is emptying water). Unable to reset with 2 buttons, no lights on display, no response when new programme set. Circuit board looks clean, no burnt/ dry joints visible.
Would anyone be able to advise anything else to check? Does this point to a faulty circuit board? if so, is this a cost effective repair? could this be anything else?
    thanks in advance, Simon
