sharp kd-hhh9s7gw2 won’t start, just 3 beeps. No error code on display, door catch looks OK, light comes on when you open door etc just won’t start. Approx 3 years old
Yes it has a child lock and no it isn’t on. Don’t think it is door catch as when I open door light goes on.
Other than the door switch the board all I can see is child lock being an issue as anyting else you should get an error code for.

Hi, I realise this post is a few months old but I had this exact issue and managed to fix it – not sure exactly how but I can put down the steps that I did and it worked afterwards.
Firstly, I tried changing the door position to the other side – to rule out problems with the door catch potentially. Still had the same issue. So I took the top panel off, cleaned out the dust around the connections and just pushed on them gently to make sure they were all seated. I took off the water pipe plastic cover piece on the back, bottom right and made sure the cables in there were seated correctly.
After doing all that it came back to life again. Hope this might help someone else.
