This dryers driving me mad , it comes with error EO6 so iv changed all the stats including at the front and it makes no difference, if i have it on timed dry itll run fine for the whole hour , but it seems on other programmes itll throw a wobbly and pop up the error , if you then , turn it off and back on itll run fine , Im just wondering whether theres a service mode or diagnostic mode for it I can run, the dryers mint about 2yrs old Tia experts

Can you check that model please as KD-NCD9S7PW9 doesn’t appear to be valid?

E06 means the door NTC connector is disconnected or, I imagine, not being seen by the board.

Thanks for that, i know i can test the front door NTC so if thats working ok , then the error must be the board, however the confusing thing is , itll work without fault on the timed programmes, , or is that just “luck” would you say cheers

Swapped the NTC for one I had here, and the dryers performing A1, i tested the on I took out and its giving me those readings, also when on radiator and in fridge the values change so I imagine its working fine , but like i say the one i popped in seems to be behaving its self , drying some towels , when progs finished ill check values again

So as near as damn it , the NTC i swapped into the dryer is at those values and the dryer performed through its 90min cycle fine, im going to do one last 75 cycle and if it dosnt pop up the error, ill pronounce it healthy, , I can only think the previous ntc while the readings were right– it itself wasn’t

So cheers for the advice , reading NTC are they all pretty much generic regarding the settings they have , or is each mfr NTC of different settings?

the only way you can be certain of the differences is to measure each one at the same temp

the 2 ntc’s in this machine have different resistance’s at 20 degrees

its easier to show a pic

that one rated at 12k at 20 degrees as opposed to the one on the heater which is 19.5K at 20 degrees
