Sharp R-895 Microwave/convection Oven…Display Unit

How easy/difficult/safe is it to replace the LCD display unit on a Sharp R-895 Microwave/convection oven… the authorised repair shop told me that it would interfere witht he device’s radiation shield… is this true?

Hi

Microwaves should only be repaired by an engineer who has the correct test equipment to make sure microwave emitions are within all safety margins . Also the main capacitor in the microwave has enough power to kill even when switched off so be warned . Pro job only
