I have the above microwave and it has been no problem since the day i bought it. However since today that has all changed and it seems that the microwave part of it refuses to heat up the food .Every thing else seems normal including turntable fan and interior light etc but i cant seem to throw light on why it will not heat up the food. Both grills incidently work fine. The digital display is also ok

    Hi
Due to the dangerous voltages that are within even when powered down, I must refer you to pro help.
Please use the link below to find a suitable engineer in your area.

yeah i realise that a professional engineer will have to repair it because of the high voltages contained but i was trying to throw some sort of light on to the what the problem might be, and if its likely to be economical to repair or whether i should throw it away and get a new one.The thing is the microwave is not behaving badly and everything seems to be working fine as if the settings are faulty. The fan works, turntable is ok and so is the digital display.

    Hi
Sorry wasn’t trying to be unhelpful, just safe 😉
The list of reasons why its not generating microwaves is quite long and to list them would be pointless as it would mean you have to open the case and measure components; then we are back to the high voltage scenario again :rolls:
