Any advice welcome. Don’t usual do commercial, but a favour for a friend…..
The washer is leaking past the tank element. I’ve fitted a fresh one but still leaks.
It seems there is a build up of pressure in the tank as it fills and the element seal
Is not upto it. The glass washer fills very slowly but there is full pressure coming
Out of the inlet valve, but only a trickle from the tank. Some sort of problem with the tank? I can’t see anything obvious!

If its in a hard water area and the water softener hasn’t been used or there isnt one sounds like the tube which supplies rinse jets and is part of the boiler is blocked with scale, was there scale in the boiler when you fitted element? if so it’s a sign/possibility.
I use a wet pick up vac to pull the water out of the boiler and also the limescale.
Also check for hairline cracks around the heater fitting, they often stress at that point.
Which model? the boiler can be removed and descaled.

Many thanks. A good soak, and a blast out with mains pressure shifted the blockage. Good as new now.
